Dr. Franck and her staff are just the best! They are all so friendly and great with our dogs. Dr. Franck is very honest and takes the time to talk things through with you. She’s very knowledgeable about new treatment options too. They are great at communication and following up with you after visits. They are transparent with pricing and their online portal makes payments a breeze!

Dr. Franck is the best. Small, one-vet clinic where they really care about your animal and you. Beautiful new facility and equipment. We have three dogs and she’s great with all of them. Convenient Ankeny location too. Highly recommend!
Hands down the best vet clinic I’ve ever been to. It’s is so beautiful and clean, with a welcoming atmosphere. They are truly so compassionate and gentle with your pet. I was beyond impressed with the thoroughness of the examination & extra cautionary testing for my cat. The only clinic in Iowa I’ll fully trust!
My dog is typically anxious at the vets office, but he did well with the staff here. They put him at ease and didn't subject him to any unnecessary tests. They were polite and treated us and our dog with respect.
We took our dog here when we couldn't get into our regular vet. Very compassionate and understanding! They explained everything and had a plan. The next day she was feeling better! Very impressive how we got a check up call to see how she was feeling! We will definitely be back! Amazing experience!
Dr. Franck is absolutely wonderful! I have so far been to Prairie Lakes with two of my pets, one for acupuncture and one for a regular wellness checkup. The hospital itself is beautiful, the staff is all so professional (especially the technician, Lili, who I had both times), and I always felt that any questions or concerns I had were taken seriously. After recently moving from out of state and having to leave my long time veterinarian, I was worried about finding somewhere new, but I definitely recommend Prairie Lakes!
I’m so glad that we found this clinic. Dr. Franck always gives our silver lab a thorough examination and never seems rushed. We always enjoy seeing her and Cari. No only have the provided excellent care while we are at the clinic they have reached out weeks after to check on our Bruce. I would recommend them to anyone!
